I bought world back in 2019 and only played it like 2 hours. Courtesy of ark, no mans sky, anthem, borderlands 3 etc etc. That and it was so complicated. Been watching oceanix videos. He does like a wildlife documentary. They're amazing! For rise and world. Thinking of getting rise and picking world back up. I just hope wilds has more monsters than both and a great variety of weapons as well.

Fastest way to charge the sword mode for anyone who does not know is to do the heavenly slash (press the right face button twice). However, you have to connect with the monster for the gauge to go up

I think World is probably closer to Wilds than Rise. That's a good thing. Rise is fun in what it sets out to accomplish in it's own way. I say check out Rise off to the side once you've finished World/Iceborne. It's a great experience too.

A great sword bow gun ? That’d be the ultimate weapon with the bowguns ranged attacks and great swords brute power and ability to block. I suppose they might add overpowered weapons because apparently everything in this game is a minion on steroids with boss potential. From the op cephadromes that look like sand worms to the giant bear dogs.

Have you considered using the Alatreon Alpha gloves and 4 piece Fatalis? You can fit a lot more skills since the Alatreon Alpha gloves come with Power Prolonger 3, Attack Boost 3, a 1 slot and a 3 slot. You can slot in Earplugs 1 and have Attack Boost 4 right on the gloves.

Switch skills are good but it could be irrelevant when one option outshines others. Like for your example with Greatsword, everybody will just run Strongarm Stance counter since it gives the highest damage possible, and since Rage Slash and Surge Slash combo doesn't do really well with Strongarm Stance, they're barely used in Sunbreak.

After playing both rise and world...in my opinion rise is far superior. You don't have annoying tracking mechanics, each weapon has more moves, movement with wirebug is like in every way superior to clutchclaw. Mounting on rise is fun, the cutscenes are not forcing you to watch them and play them single player. It has mounts, better monster variety and lots of quality of lifes that world dont have... gathering spirit birds might be the worse thing about rise but ye world has no chance to rise except graphics. Plus the endgame of world is boring as heck and i hate both alatreon and fatalis...both awful fights compared to rise endgame monsters

Why do Monster hunter youtubers ALWAYS in every single video tell us that they arent forcing us to use exactly what they are using and that they arent telling us what to do?
